In Suba diving we have the same problem. They make a antifog gel you can buy. About 5 bucks a tube. In a pinch we also can use toothpaste and very temp fix is spit on a dive mask.
do not use abrasive toothpaste on glass.

Make sure to clean the front and back and dry with a lint free rag!
Coat the back of the plexiglass with spray cooking oil.
I know this sounds wierd, but hang in there!
Apply sheets of foil to the side that was just covered with oil.
Using a large paint brush, smooth the foil over glass removing any bubbles and creating a srface that would make up you mirror.
Place the foil coated glass in a frame or any type holder where the foil can be held in place.

Put shaving cream on a tissue; and wipe mirror down good with it. wipe off clean and mirror will not fog. this works with just ordinary mirror also.

I am not sure i understand your question well.But if ur using VMware as virtual machine or any other software you can disable the virutal network card that is if you want no access at all to the net on ur VM.
You can also use settings to stop the network card fro sharing the computers network connections using NAT
